This Baby is Sailing!
From planning to execution – finally! The last week was naturally full of delays and a lot of hassle… anyone surprised?
Instead of the planned departure from Stockholm, we loaded the boat yesterday in Västerås with six crewmembers and loads of food and equipment.
This morning we made the necessary last minute visit to Clas Ohlson to get everything from spare shackles to fishing hooks, before starting our journey on the beautiful Mälaren amongst idyllic Swedish summer houses.
Now we sit tighly in anchor in front of the tiniest little beach and the sun has just set. Not a bad first day! Plan is to get some proper sleep and rest before hitting the big waters tomorrow.
Feels good to be on the way!
